Paint Correction
Paint Correction in North Fort Worth & Southlake
Paint correction removes swirl marks, water spots, haze, and light scratches by machine polishing a very thin layer of clear coat. It brings back depth and gloss that washing can't. One-step enhancement is part of our Level 3 detail and every ceramic package, and multi-stage correction is quoted after we look at your paint.
What paint correction fixes
Swirl marks from automatic car washes and dirty towels, water spots, oxidation, and scratches that haven't gone through the clear coat. If your fingernail catches in a scratch, it may be too deep to remove completely, but it can usually be made much less visible.
Enhancement vs multi-stage correction
A one-step enhancement removes light defects and restores gloss. It's included in our Level 3 detail and every ceramic package. Multi-stage correction uses a heavier cut followed by a polish and is for paint with heavy swirling or neglect. Since every car's paint is different, multi-stage work is quoted after an assessment.
Why correction comes before ceramic
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Correcting first means the coating seals in clear, glossy paint instead of the defects. Read more about how paint correction works.

Frequently asked questions
How much does paint correction cost?
One-step paint enhancement is included in our Level 3 detail, which starts at $425 for cars and $650 for trucks. Multi-stage correction depends on the paint's condition and the size of the vehicle, so we quote it after an assessment.
Can paint correction remove all scratches?
It removes defects in the clear coat, like swirls, water spots, and light scratches. Scratches that go through the clear coat into the color or primer can be improved but not fully removed without paint work.
Is paint correction safe for my clear coat?
Done correctly, yes. Correction removes a very thin layer of clear coat, so we start with the least aggressive approach and only go further when the paint needs it.
How long does paint correction last?
The correction itself is permanent. Swirls come back if the car keeps getting washed the same way, so protect it with a ceramic coating or silica wax afterward and use safe wash methods.
Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes, if the paint has visible swirls or haze. A coating seals in whatever is underneath it, so correcting first means you lock in clean, glossy paint.
Where is multi-stage correction done?
Light enhancement is done on-site with your detail. Multi-stage correction is best done at our North Arlington shop, out of the sun, heat, and dust.
